OUR main aim is: To revive and maintain the culture of the Bum people, thereby creating a
sense of attachment to and awareness of the cultural legacies of the Bum people
amongst the Douala Branch members
ii.
To participate in cultural and economic development projects initiated
in or for Bum
iii.
To foster the spirit of loyalty, co-operation, Unity, Collective
responsibility and patriotism amongst Bum people of all walks of life in Douala
and its environs
iv.
To strive to have a cordial relations with other branches of the BDU as
well as with the unions of other people and tribes.
